Ferrule Options - Posi-Lok, Snap Button, TLC

Posi-Lok® Ferrule: In addition to the 3-hole snap-button ferrule and TLC ferrule, you can now choose the new Posi-Lok ferrule, which clicks into position firmly and securely and features strong, corrosion-free composite construction and convenient dual-button release.

3-Hole Snap-Button: Our trouble-free snap-button ferrule comes with 0 and 60-degree RHC and LHC feature positions. Quiet and precise, it won’t squeak or wiggle.

TLC Ferrule: Our TLC ferrule allows adjustable feathering from 30, 45, 60 RHC or LHC and clicks as it locks. Since the TLC is external, great for rough, open water conditions, it requires less maintenance and cleaning compared to standard ferrule systems. Even in the sandiest of conditions, the TLC ferrule will still feather.

Standard and Small Shaft Options

One size does not fit all.

In fact, we have designed a smaller shaft size to fit smaller, more petite hands. If your hands are larger than 7 inches from the base of you palm to your fingertip, the regular shaft should feel more comfortable. If your hands are smaller than 7 inches, the small shaft option may be a better fit. If your fingertips can touch the palm of your hand when holding the shaft of the paddle, the shaft may be too small. Always use a light grip of the shaft as this will reduce fatigue and blistering, increasing comfort and efficiency.

Blade Material - abX II Resin

This paddle features Aqua-Bound's new, exclusive abX II resin. This material is lighter than the previous generation of abX material, and 22% stronger. The blades are gas-assist plastic injection molded, reinforced with fiberglass fibers. All the better to keep you on the water and out of trouble.
