GREEN! Yep, I finally got my personal first descent on the Green River Narrows. It wasn't quite as scary as I thought it would be, but by the end of the day I was mentally fried. I had reasonably good lines (except for that spot in the run out, we won't talk about that). On some of the rapids my boat was pretty full of water, particularly Zwick's. We walked the big three. Sunshine is definitely way more intimidating from ground level. The hardest part was staying calm. The Green is a step up for me, and it was a new experience running rapids of that difficulty with no scouting and pretty minimal beta. My AB Edge met the challenge of such an abusive run (7.5" on the gauge) and excelled. It's great to have equipment I don't have to worry about.
