Aqua Bound Tango Fiberglass is 2022 Best Kayak Paddle!
We’re thrilled that our Tango Fiberglass kayak paddle has just been awarded “Best Paddle” by 2022 Paddling Magazine Industry Awards!
Our newest color option, Northern Lights, sealed the deal with the judges who said in their press release:
“Now a trusted companion on the water, the Tango by Aqua Bound is a go-to for a smooth forward stroke and eye-popping designs. New this year is the Northern Lights pattern which provides high visibility and reflects one of Earth’s most beautiful creations.”
Thanks to Rapid Media, the world’s leading paddlesports media company, for the honor of this award. More than 30 thousand votes by retail buyers, media and consumers chose the winners in eleven categories including boats, paddles, gear, accessories and apparel.
About Aqua Bound’s Tango Kayak Paddle
We introduced our low-angle touring kayak paddle, Tango, along with its high-angle companion, Whiskey, in 2017.
We’ve been very pleased with its reception by the kayaking world! We tapped the wisdom, creativity and experience of both the Aqua Bound team and our ProStaff team for initial development of the Tango, and continue to do so for structural improvements, processes and new blade patterns.

Tango features a T-700 carbon shaft with our patented Posi-Lok™ ferrule system, which is constructed of 100% carbon. The gorgeous blades are handmade with silk fabric and multi-laminate fiberglass using a high-pressure compression molding process.
2022 will see three color options available in the fiberglass model: Northern Lights, Fuego and Green Tide. Tango is also available in a full-carbon model for those looking for the absolute lightest touring kayak paddle we offer.

OMG! What a game changer. This is the GREATEST paddle ever made! At least for a little 110 60 female. You can paddle all day long without getting tired. It's also a beautiful paddle. If you are smaller, older or just tired of getting tired, get this paddle, you won't regret it.

Once again a top notch paddle from Aqua-Bound…These two Aqua-Bound paddles Tango & Whisky are top notch & I feel you get the most for your money in this price range. I purchased a Tango for my wife as a present. She looked at me like I had a hole in my head for spending a few hundred on a paddle when she already had a perfectly good one. Just went out for the first time last week. Her first comments were these are really nice and make a difference, you have a birthday coming up, what you need is a new paddle.
