- They’re available as a standard 2-piece paddle, or ultra-packable 4-piece.
- They’re each available in several different lengths.
Let’s take a closer look at each Manta Ray model so you can decide which fits your kayak fishing life the best…
Manta Ray Carbon
Manta Ray Carbon is our top-of-the-line Manta Ray paddle, super light and maneuverable. Ranging in price from $189.95 to $209.95, the Manta Ray Carbon has a 100% carbon shaft and abX carbon-reinforced nylon blades.
This model is available with both the Posi-Lok and snap-button ferrules, and is available in both 2-piece and 4-piece. The blades are sleek black.
Manta Ray Hybrid
Manta Ray Hybrid is next in line with the same 100% carbon shaft and with white abXII fiberglass-reinforced blades. The Hybrid ranges in price from $139.95 to $159.95. It’s available in both Posi-Lok and snap-button ferrule systems, as well as in 2-piece or 4-piece.
Manta Ray Fiberglass
Next is Manta Ray Fiberglass, a bit heavier but every bit as tough as the first two on the list. The yellow abXII fiberglass-reinforced nylon blades are the same 105 square inches. The shaft has the tight fitting snap-button ferrule. No wiggling there! It’s available in 2-piece ($109.95) or 4-piece ($119.95).
Manta Ray Aluminum
Finally we have the Manta Ray Aluminum. It’s our most affordable Manta Ray model, with the 2-piece model under $100. It features the same yellow abXII fiberglass-reinforced nylon blades as the Fiberglass model, but with a corrosion-resistant aluminum shaft. Both the 2-piece ($99.95) and 4-piece ($109.95) models have the snap-button ferrule.
If you’re looking for a serious kayak paddle for some serious kayak fishing, you can’t go wrong with the Manta Ray. No matter which model you choose, you’ll have a trusted partner on the water.
